| Some comments on our Elderhostel
Program: Very diversified, interesting program. I'm very impressed with all the people who where part of this great time! This was my first Elderhostel. It will not be my last. The caliber of the leadership and the volunteers was extraordinary. Volunteers, what a wonderful group of people! This was a good mixture of congenial folk and an excellent program. The hospitality of the town's people is something to mention. I shall always remember their warmth and gracious desire to share their culture, their town and friendship. Overall, an excellent "insiders look" at New Braunfels which we could never have achieved on our own. My wife and I have been to many Elderhostels. This ranks with the best. A most enjoyable program. Don't change a thing. The volunteers showed professionalism and dedication that exceeded anything I have ever known on a general level. It was pleasant to have recently encountered docents join us on a different phase. A very well planned Elderhostel, beginning with such excellent brochures on the sites we were to see. The volunteers were so enthusiastic and knowledgable that it made it really fun to learn some new information. |
